I bought this on the spur of the moment b/c I had a long wait and I was pleasantly surprised. It was the cheapest neck rest at the airport gift shop and it can do so much:

neck roll - great for those puffy hotel pillows; and now I use it every night at home as a neck roll
back support

It clips to your carry on bag; when I didn't use it as a neck rest on the plane, I propped my elbows on it as I read my book. The fabric is slippery and it seems that it will be hard to get it dirty.

And it was only $20! I use it every day now and I will definately take it with my when I travel.

It looks sort of big in the picture, but if you know the size of a regular travel neck rest, then this is exactly the same size. You can bend this one in many more ways though and tuck it into a bag easier.

I'm buying my mother one for Christmas. She totes around a neck roll (and sometimes a pillow) with her when she travels, and really, she just needs this.

2 mos later: Russ, I read your great review and it was too bad that the stitching broke. I just wanted to update my review with the fact that my stitching did not break. I still LOVE this pillow - I use it every day as a neck roll and for my lower back and to prop up my hands as I read at night. I can move it around and adjust it without using the drawstring. I don't cinch the drawstring to pull it into a horseshoe shape b/c I am too lazy I suppose - it is designed to do that, but I don't do that. Maybe the stitching can't hold up if you put it into that horseshoe shape, which is not cool, b/c it is desgined to do that. Probably ok for resting your neck in the horseshoe shape, but not resting heavily on it...maybe?

I know it's weird to update a review like this, but there aren't many products I really really like, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this one...again.
