We bought this pillow for our 3 year old son and 18 month old daughter and it fits both of them very well. It's incredibly soft yet stiff enough to provide neck and head support. At first the monkey's head seems a bit large and you think it will get in the way, but it fits perfectly between the chin and neck/shoulders.
Although the cover isn't removable, the pillow is machine washable (a must for drooling kids). The pillow is also very well stitched together -- pulling on the seams doesn't show any gaps.
Our son loves it so much he wants to use it as a bedtime buddy at home. What more can you want?
